Description
A Garnatxa (Grenache in Catalan) pure and full of personality. This red wine is made from young vines from the high mountain of Pontons.
Our opinion : The color is on bright red tones, with some brown reflections coming from the color of the fruit. This red wine has a complex nose, with some floral, creamy notes but also wild fruits. In the mouth, there is a lot of fruit straight away. Then follow subtle notes of spices and toast. Its very long finish gives it a great originality and a nice balance.

In 1978, Mr. Joan Cusiné Hill took over the cellar. Born in 1917 in Bellvei del Penedès, Mr. Joan comes from a family of winegrowers and, from the age of seven, he helped his father to cultivate the vines and we can say that he never stopped to work. At 80, he still helped his grandsons to take care of certain vineyards.
Her son Joan Cusiné Cusiné started managing Pares Baltà in the 80s and developed his first still white wine “Blanc de Pacs” which is still produced today. In the late 1980s, the first red wine was produced. Since 2000, the management has been in the hands of two grandsons, Joan and Josep Cusiné Carol. They brought new ideas to the business, but above all showed respect for tradition and heritage.
The winemakers, Maria Elena Jimenez and Marta Casas, wives of Joan and Josep Cusiné, have contributed to the consolidation of the philosophy of the Estate.
The DO Penedès appellation is a Spanish appellation.
It belongs to the Catalan vineyard and is located between Barcelona and Tarragona. Its vines are staged between the Mediterranean Sea and the Montserrat massif.
The white wines are aromatic and lively. Some white wines are semi dry.
They keep a small amount of unfermented sugar. The red wines are generally wines with short aging, even if certain cuvées are intended for more than two years of conservation.
